Let me introduce myself
I'm Tim and together with my wife Caroline we run Driver Photography. I take the photographs and deal with all orders and photoshop work whilst Caroline keeps me in order as a qualified company secretary. We specialise in storybook style wedding photography as well as portrait photography including babies and children. I have had a passion for photography since I received my first Kodak camera at the age of 7. I set up my own darkroom in a shed in the garden when I was 16, and have been photographing weddings since 1992. We have 2 young sons who take up most of our time outside work, and we live in the beautiful village of Debenham in Suffolk. Although we mainly photograph weddings in East Anglia, we will happily go further afield, with travel expenses. Over the years we’ve covered weddings in West Wales, Jersey and France.
Tims Photographic Style
I have a relaxed, friendly style and I try to put you, your families and guests at ease. During the last 15 years I have developed a method of working which avoids any need for shouting or taking over your day. Experience has taught me to predict where and when the best photo opportunities will arise and to position myself accordingly without fuss. I take a blend of natural un-posed shots and fashionable portraits, whilst being more than happy to cover any formal pictures you or your guests may want. My main focus is on creating a set of beautiful photographs which will tell the story of your wedding day. Equipment
If you are technically-minded, you might like to know that I shoot on Nikon D700 and D3 full frame professional camera bodies as these are currently the best all round cameras for wedding work, in my opinion. I used to shoot on medium format film cameras but the quality now produced by digital is superior and allows storybook wedding albums to be produced quickly. You may also see me with a pair of Fuji S5 cameras which can take pictures in very bright conditions where some other cameras fail. I have a full set of portable studio equipment we take with us to all weddings and we can light up even the darkest of reception venues if necessary.- Suffolk Wedding
