We have been lucky enough to book three weddings at Butley priory in the last 12 months, This page shows a wedding we photographed at Butley Priory near woodbridge in October, fortunately the Suffolk weather was kind to us and we were able to the coverage we had carefully planned with the bride and groom and our photographers had a great day and provided a full days wedding photography package. Butley Priory is one of the most spectacular venues in the county and people travel long distances to get married at this venue, It was recently featured in the tv series "The Hotel Inspector" and currently has a thriving wedding business. Driver Photography have booked 3 weddings here in the last 6 months and its very easy to see why whith its fine grade 1 listed building status, fine spacious grounds and secluded location it provides the visual backdrop for a great storybook wedding album. There is a great sense of teamwork from Natilie and the wedding team and this always ensures that things run smoothly on your big day, The Ceremony and Reception rooms are all well sized and have lots of natural light, The 3 Bedrooms which most couples also have access to for their wedding preperations have beautiful high ceilings, wonderful decor and great light for photgraphs before or after your wedding. There is easy access to the coast and local towns of Orford, Woodbridge,Snape,Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Wickham market and Saxmundham with the county town of Suffolk - Ipswich being less than half an hours drive away.
