Working with you - Making your day flow smoothly

Take a closer look

It is important to know in advance exactly what your wedding photographer will do, and I am very happy to spend time discussing practical issues with you. On the big day we will all be more relaxed as a result. My priority is always to record the important moments as they unfold with the minimum amount of interruption, letting the joy and individuality of the day shine through. As a general rule, these are some of the things that I do for every couple.

Pre Wedding

A lot of people are ill at ease in front of a camera and tense subjects don’t make the best pictures. I find that many people haven’t had portrait shots taken since they were at school. For this reason I offer a complimentary pre-wedding photo shoot in order to help you relax in front of the camera and to get to know you.

Planning ahead

For your peace of mind, you need to be sure that your photographer will arrive on time and do everything you’ve agreed. That’s why I spend time with the bride and groom beforehand, gaining an insight to you as a couple and going through exactly what is planned and who’s who in the wedding party. I offer a choice of packages and can tailor the photography to suit you.

Going the extra mile

Less experienced or committed photographers don’t always go beyond what’s expected of them at weddings. I, however, like to adapt to events as they unfold, looking out for those extra special photo opportunities. Experience has taught me to expect the unexpected, so I bring everything from a set of umbrellas to portable lighting, safety pins and hairspray.

Covering every angle

Your wedding is a one-off event, so every angle needs to be covered. I’ll take a wide range of pictures through the entire day to ensure that I really capture the essence of the event. I aim to portray you, your guests and the location in the best possible light so that you will have a broad selection from which to build up your album. There’s always a mix of natural, un-posed shots, traditional group shots, romantic portraits, and some really unique pictures too.

Organising group shots

It’s a real skill to be able to organise large numbers of people for a photograph and keep their attention while you compose the pictures. After many years of experience, I’m accustomed to organising the group shots quickly and without any fuss. You needn’t therefore worry about guests getting bored or being left waiting around.

Creating quality images

Taking a photograph is simple, but taking truly great photographs requires technical skills, experience, intuition and a genuine ability to connect with people. Your wedding is such an important event in your life and it deserves to be beautifully recorded. You can trust me to deliver the highest quality images.

Keeping it personal

I don’t have any stand-ins, so when you book Tim Driver, that’s who you get. I think it is vitally important to establish a personal rapport with your wedding photographer and to have confidence in their abilities. This makes it a bit easier to choose the right photographer for you.
